We match by measuring the glass thickness (most commonly 3/8″ or 1/2″ tempered), the clamp-to-glass contact area, and the center-to-center post spacing. If you still have the original paperwork, there’s a stamped code on the inside of the post base that tells us the generation. If you don’t, we can identify it from the hardware profile alone.

On OEM versus aftermarket: for Jeld-Wen specifically, the OEM glass is tempered and marked with a permanent safety stamp. Quality aftermarket tempered panels from Florida suppliers match the spec, but not all aftermarket hardware does.
